With over 20 years of software developement experience, Robin has worked extensively in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, and is now concentrating on IBM's strategy for Service Oriented Architecture and how the IBM tools, built on eclipse, can be used to deliver better business value.

Andy Clement
Andy Clement is a senior software developer at IBM's Laboratory at Hursley Park, a committer on the AspectJ project, and co-founder of the AJDT project. He is involved in the use of aspects in J2EE middleware and has presented and taught many AOP sessions at conferences like AOSD, EclipseCon and OOPSLA. He is one of the co-authors of "Eclipse AspectJ : Aspect-Oriented Programming with AspectJ and the Eclipse AspectJ Development Tools".
Leif Frenzel
Leif Frenzel is Senior Architect at Innoopract, a specialist in Eclipse distribution and visual web application development tools. Currently his focus is on Yoxos, the Eclipse distribution. Leif is a recognized speaker at conferences and has published numerous articles related to Eclipse plug-in development. He has also contributed to Open Source projects that develop language support for functional programming languages and Team support for distributed revision control.
Rod Johnson
Rod is one of the world's leading authorities on Java and J2EE development. He is a best-selling author, experienced consultant, and open source developer, as well as a popular conference speaker. Rod's best-selling Expert One-on-One J2EE Design and Development (2002) was one of the most influential books ever published on J2EE. The sequel, J2EE without EJB (July 2004, with Juergen Hoeller), has proven almost equally significant, establishing a comprehensive vision for lightweight, post-EJB J2EE development. Rod has extensive experience as a consultant in a wide range of industries: principally, finance, media and insurance. He has specialized in server-side Java development since 1996. Prior to that, he worked mainly in C and C++. His experience as a consultant has led him to see problems from a client's perspective as well as a technology perspective, and has driven his influential criticism of bloated, inefficient, orthodox approaches to J2EE architecture, which have delivered very poor results for stakeholders. Rod is the founder of the Spring Framework, which began from code published with Expert One-on-One J2EE Design and Development. Along with Juergen Hoeller, he continues to lead the development of Spring. He regularly speaks at conferences in the US, Europe and Asia, including the ServerSide Symposium (2003, 2004 and 2005), JavaPolis (Europe's leading Java conference), and JAOO (2004). Engagements in 2005 include two presentations at JavaOne 2005 and a keynote at the JavaWorld 2005 conference (Tokyo, June). Rod serves in the JCP on the Expert Groups defining the Servlet 2.4 and JDO 2.0 specifications. Rod continues to be actively involved in client projects at Interface21, as well as Spring development, writing and evangelism.

Jochen Krause
Jochen Krause ist Geschäftsführer der Innoopract Informationssysteme GmbH, einem Anbieter von Software und Dienstleitungen rund um Eclipse. Innoopract ist Hersteller der Eclipse Distribution Yoxos und von Werkzeugen zur visuellen Webentwicklung (W4T). Jochen Krause repräsentiert Innoopract seit 2003 bei Eclipse und ist Mitglied des Web Tools Project Management Committees (PMC). Er ist Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur und beschäftigt sich seit 1992 intensiv mit Informationstechnologien, insbesondere Internettechnologien, objektorientiertem Softwaredesign und Softwareentwicklungsprozessen.
Craig McClanahan
Craig McClanahan is a Senior Staff Engineer for Sun Microsystems, Inc. He is currently Architect for Java Studio Creator, an Interactive Development Environment (IDE) tool for graphically building web applications using JavaServer Faces technology. Craig is also the original developer of Apache Struts, a popular open source framework for building Java-based web applications.
Daniel Megert
Daniel Megert holds a Diploma in Computer Science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and is currently working with IBM Research in Zurich. He is one of the initial Eclipse committers and worked on several components including Search, Text, and the JDT UI. He is currently the lead of the Eclipse Platform Text and Eclipse JDT Text components.
Mike Milinkovich
Mike Milinkovich is Executive Director of the Eclipse Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation supporting the Eclipse open-source community and commercial ecosystem. Mike has been contributing to the technology industry for over twenty years. Most recently a vice president in Oracle’s Development Group, Mike led the Application Server Technical Services team, a group of highly technical experts who support Oracle’s application server strategic customers and partners. Prior to joining Oracle, Mike was with WebGain where he was Vice President of Worldwide Services and President of WebGain Canada. Other experiences include: The Object People which did world wide technology consulting and training; Object Technology International where he held various roles in software engineering, product management and business development; and IBM, where Mike was responsible for world wide product marketing of a major IBM software product line. Mike earned his Masters of Science degree in Information and Systems Sciences and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Carleton University. He lives in Ottawa, Canada.
Eric Newcomer
Eric joined Credit Suisse in August, 2009 and took the role of Chief Architect for the Investment Banking Division in April, 2010, reporting to the CIO of the Investment Bank and dotted line to the corporate Chief Architect. His main responsibilities are improving the designs of applications in the Investment Bank and helping to establish common standards and architecture across divisions of Credit Suisse. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Eric was CTO of IONA Technologies through the acquisition of IONA by Progress Software and a TP Architect at Digital Equipment Corporation (now part of HP).
Kevin Parker
Kevin Parker is Vice President of Market Development at Serena Software. He has over 25 years in the industry, 9 of them with Serena. He has responsibility for driving the Eclipse Application Lifecycle Framework (ALF) Project and for promoting the Ecosystem with vendors and customers. In his leadership position he is directly involved in shaping and delivering the Serena vision. He was born and educated in the United Kingdom where acquired extensive development, consulting and management expertise. He is a sought after speaker here and abroad and has been the key speaker at over 25 seminars and conferences this year so far: from Buenos Aires to Boston and from Houston to Helsinki.
Ed Schumacher
Based in the worldwide development centre in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Edwin Schumacher is responsible for the technical direction of Compuware’s application development and integration products. An expert on Model-Driven, Pattern-Based Development, he is a respected speaker on the topics of Java and J2EE development, Web Services and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), business process automation (BPA) and Model Driven Architecture (MDA). Edwin Schumacher has worked for Compuware for almost 13 years in a variety of roles. Prior to that, he worked as an ERP product consultant and as a software developer for the Netherlands' largest market research organisation (TNO). Schumacher holds a software engineering degree.

Ilya Shinkarenko is a software engineer by WeigleWilczek GmbH with focus on Eclipse and Java EE. He has developed and led numerous IT-Projects using Open-Source technologies. Ilya is also a trainer employed by RCP Training Alliance and has done about 10 full-blown Eclipse RCP trainings as well as one-day workshops focused on different Eclipse areas.
Axel Stollfuss
Axel Stollfuß hat das Informatik-Studium an der Universität Karlsruhe abgeschlossen. Artem Tikhomirov is employed by Borland Software Corporation and currently works on the Eclipse Graphical Modeling Framework (GMF) project. Artem has been a leader in the development of Borland’s Together Edition for Eclipse product, and currently leads development on the generative tooling side of GMF.
Kai Tödter
Kai Tödter is software engineer/architect in the Global Technology Field "System Architecture and Platforms" of Siemens Corporate Technology. He has more than 14 years of professional Java experience. His main interest is software architecture for smart clients and he focuses on rich client, RIA and mobile platforms. Kai is Siemens' primary contact in the Eclipse Foundation and he is committer in the e4 project. Kai is a renowned expert in the area of Eclipse RCP and a frequent speaker at international conferences.
Jason Weathersby
Jason Weathersby is the BIRT Evangelist at Actuate Corporation and a member of the Eclipse Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT) Project Management Committee (PMC). Jason has over 15 years experience in the software development field, ranging from real time process control to business intelligence software. At Actuate, Jason is currently responsible for educating the open source community on BIRT and encouraging its adoption.
